Terex Demag Service Training Center (STC)

Transfer of knowledge at its very best

In Terex-Demag mobile cranes, there is an interplay of innovations encompassing a whole range of technologies, from hydraulics, to pneumatics, electrical engineering, electronics, engine and transmission systems, making the cranes safer and more efficient yet simpler to operate.

Technical innovations constantly involve fresh challenges for Service. Regular further training for our service employees is therefore a top priority at Terex Demag Service.

Terex Demag STC exercises responsibility not only for the on-going qualification of members of our own global service organization but also for that of our customers' technicians. In addition, following the  "train the trainer"-principle, so called master trainers are provided with the specialist capablities necessary to continue the transfer of knowledge within their own markets.

Participants can expect to find ideal conditions on our premises. Only a stone's throw away from the crane production plant lies our Service Training Center (STC). Training takes place in the best possible environment, equipped with the very latest in presentational technology.

Members of Training Center staff

Taking particular markets into account, our trainers develop and put into practice the ideas for training in close collaboration with the company's departments of Research and Development, Production, and Sales. Extensive direct job experience, coupled with the qualified instruction our trainers receive, forms the solid basis on which our whole training programme is built.

Training using equipment

The yardstick of a truly successful training outcome is its degree of obvious practical relevance. Training content is therefore acquired either through using equipment or simulators directly and/or after theoretical presentation via hands-on tasks.

Training using a simulator

Our simulators correspond in exact detail to their originals and are built using genuine parts. Various special simulators are used for training purposes, for example LML simulations, hydraulic simulators, technical control simulators and basic electrical systems simulators.

Everything taught during training is contained in the clearly structured and edited printed material obtained in class, allowing you to refer to it to refresh your memory at a later date.
