Supply Management Analyst, Europe

Overview
This is a new role reporting to the Director, Special Projects, Supply Management. This position is responsible for supporting the supply management team in the development and implementation of both strategic change and tactical improvement in the supply chain. This position will work closely with the Directors as well as Terex sites in Europe and worldwide to develop and implement globally common supplier scorecards, cost regression analysis, supply market segmentation as well as supporting the development and execution of regular sourcing team activities. Strong analysis and communication skills will be a critical element of success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Spend aggregation using Ecost and Plant information
- RFI and RFP development under the guidance of sourcing managers
- Supplier scorecard development and execution including on time delivery, quality performance, lead time analysis and cost productivity
- Supply base an+alysis focusing on supply base reduction
- Variance analysis, total program targets versus actuals
Qualifications
Education: a bachelor degree in a relevant subject such as business, finance or supply chain, coupled with work experience in these areas. MBA preferred.
Strong English skills are required
Estimated Travel is 25%
Experience: The ideal candidate will have significant experience and a track record of developing and executing analysis, consolidating data and developing reports and presentations. (around 3 years experience).
Skills: The candidate should be a self-starter. He or she must be able to work across multiple organizations, systems, cultures. He or she should have extensive experience with Microsoft Access and Excel including automating analysis through macros or other techniques.
