Terex® Demag CC8800-1 TWIN revolutionizes the construction of large industrial facilities
The first unit of the world’s largest lattice boom crawler crane that can travel with load, the Terex® Demag CC8800-1 TWIN, will be handed over to its new owner, Al Jaber Heavy Lift, at the beginning of October.
The TWIN add-on kit for the successful 1600t (1763 tons) crawler crane Terex® Demag CC8800-1 increases its range of operation to a lifting capacity of 3200t (3527 tons).

Terex Cranes:Crane innovations that are ready to go
At Bauma 2007, Terex Cranes is presenting a total of thirteen cranes at the joint Terex booth. The exhibit will feature new products and highlights in the fields of telescopic cranes, tower cranes, crawler cranes and container stackers.
This also includes the new Demag AC 100/4, Bendini RC 60 and PPM TC 40 L cranes.

Top ‘n’ go – Debut of the CC 2800-1 NT
The new CC 2800-1 NT is proving its cost effectiveness in the construction of wind power plants at its service debut in Kjøllefjord, Norway.
A major logistical feat had to be accomplished before the new TEREX Demag CC 2800-1 NT (narrow track), operated by the KR Wind crane company could be activated for the first time. At the beginning of August, the 600 t crane was shipped from Denmark to Kjøllefjord in Norway together with 2.3 megawatt wind power plants. A total of 17 wind power plants were to be erected there. A service employee and development engineer from Terex Demag were present, accompanying the crane during its first operation.
